“How do you do the right thing and not get fired or ruin your career?”: The role of university administrators in hazing prevention and education
This dissertation examines the role of university administrators in hazing prevention efforts, addressing a critical gap in research on campus hazing. Using a mixed-methods approach—including surveys and qualitative interviews—this project explores the strategies administrators employ, the challenges they face, and how campus characteristics shape hazing prevention efforts. This dissertation also illustrates how administrators navigate workplace challenges related to hazing education and prevention.
