Dr. Elisa Toman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Sam Houston State University. She received her PhD from the University of South Florida. Dr. Toman’s work has been recognized by the American Society of Criminology, and her teaching has been recognized by Sam Houston State University. Her work appears in leading journals within her discipline, including the Journal of Research in Crime and Delinquency.
