Our first community gathering this spring will be an informal discussion about setting the stage (and leaving it!) for classroom conversations, especially around controversial issues. Nefratiri has kindly agreed to share her successes with both majors and non-majors.

Alumni tell us that communication skills they acquired in SOC’s diverse classrooms come in very handy throughout their careers, so please come willing to share tips you utilize. New to teaching? Please bring questions and what has been helpful to you as a student.
