We are thrilled to announce our new minor in Environmental Sociology!
Open to ALL MAJORS, this minor provides students opportunities to examine a variety of issues around the natural environment and related regulatory and institutional contexts, environmental inequalities and injustices, and solutions to them. Energy, food, water, and other environmental systems are central to this minor, as is developing a sociological perspective of how individuals & groups affect social structures and vice versa.
Our expert faculty and engaging coursework help prepare students to work in a variety of fields, including sustainability, environmental and social justice, agencies, non-profits, and policy.
