The digital, online world is changing the way we work, play and interact with one another. Small, portable video cameras (including cell phone cameras) capable of recording in high definition have replaced the complicated cameras of the past. Posting to online sites allows for quick and easy distribution.

My areas of interest include image-based research, community identity theory and audience reception studies with a focus on how adoption of communication technologies are demonstrated in the online world.

I received my PhD in Public Communication and Technology from CSU in 2016.
