Biography
Michael J. Hogan is an associate professor with the Center for the Study of Crime and Justice in the Department of Sociology at Colorado State University. He received his PhD in criminology from Florida State University and his M.A. in sociology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He has recently published in the Journal of Criminal Justice, Disasters, and Deviant Behavior, and has recently worked on numerous externally funded projects for private sector entities and local, county, and state level criminal justice agencies. His current research interests include public opinion on crime and justice issues, white collar, corporate, and governmental crime, and offender treatment and rehabilitation.
