The Research Enterprise at CSU: Resources and Opportunities for Social Scientists Today and in the Years Ahead

Join us as Dr. Michael Carolan takes a 360-degree look at research and scholarship opportunities at CSU.

Michael will begin by reviewing what resources exist right now to support the Sociology Department’s research enterprise. He’ll discuss possible impacts as the Academic Master Plan and Courage Strategic Transformation (CST) processes progress.

The remainder of the talk Michael will focus on what he sees as future research opportunities in light of resource, budget, and program realignments happening across campus. Michael offers a unique vantage point as Professor of Sociology, College of Liberal Arts Associate Dean for Research & Faculty Development, and Co-Director of the Food Systems Institute, which sits under four colleges, the Vice President for Research, and the Vice President for Engagement and Extension.

This event will be held at the LSC and on Zoom. Please email Carmen for the link.
