Jeni Cross is the new Co-Chair of the Environmental Health Matters Initiative (EHMI) Committee with the National Academy of Sciences. EHMI addresses complex environmental problems by utilizing a systems-based approach, multidisciplinary efforts, multi-level engagement, and evidence informed science. The initiative is sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, EPA, ExxonMobil, National Academy of Sciences Cecil and Ida Green Fund, National Academy of Sciences George and Cynthia Mitchell Endowment for Sustainability Science, and National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.
