CSU’s College of Liberal Arts held its annual All-College Awards Reception virtually April 21, 2021. CLA announced the 2021-22 college award winners and recognized staff and faculty for their contributions to their units, the college, the university, and to their colleagues and their profession/discipline.

Annabel Ipsen received an Ann Gill Faculty Development Award for her project titled, “Structural precarity, social inequalities, and virus transmission in U.S. meatpacking.” Her research will shed light on the social inequalities within the meatpacking industry as well as the effects the industries had on immigrant and refugee workers during the pandemic.

The Ann Gill Faculty Development Award is funded by generous donors to the College of Liberal Arts through the College’s Great Conversations program. This supports annual awards for outstanding research and creative activity by tenured and tenure-track faculty in the College.
